Ep 12 | Why We Use the Divi Theme
More than 30% of websites on the internet are built with WordPress. We personally love to use Divi by Elegant Themes. In this episode, we share why. What theme is your website built on?
There are so many websites themes out there. If you start looking at all the options it can get confusing.
At The First Click we only use Divi by Elegant Themes.
We love the way the builder works. It's a visual drag and drop builder. It also has a great backend builder. With several options you can fit it to anyone's style of editing.
Divi also comes with numerous premade layouts. These can be utilized to create your entire website, or just sections or individual pages.
The support with Divi is great as well. We are members of the Divi Community on Facebook to reach out and learn more, but we also have had great experiences with Divi support.
There are 2 great plugins that come for Divi for free. They are Bloom – which is great for email marketing, and Monarch, which is great for social sharing from your website.
Divi uses Shortcode. This is one of the downsides to Divi should you choose to switch it out in the future. However, with how robust the theme is, we don't see a need to switch platforms ever.
One final thing we love is the ease for creating forms. Divi has a great module that can create robust forms form small contact forms, to intake forms for potential clients.
